The LogiNext system supports two types of returns to help streamline this process: Return orders and RTM (Return to Merchant) orders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Return Orders<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>You can create a Return order when a customer requests to return an order that has been delivered to them. When you mark an order as \u2018Return\u2019, the system automatically generates a new order to collect the original order from the customer\u2019s location and bring it back to the branch.<br><br><strong>Note:<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>You can create Return orders only for orders with the status \u2018Delivered\u2019 and for which the Sales Return Allowed toggle was enabled at the time of order creation.<br><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"width: 850px;\" src=\"https:\/\/lh7-rt.googleusercontent.com\/docsz\/AD_4nXet6TUmCOEoJIwp_QDG0zZ_ztkG5_HsIGslrCEEPkbFSK_XLg17Y2VyX5tw8T4aSWqz7Q8gEwNVbqRTfDh_cw7uxEcBn5jwktdOcV0jbV5EA6wFaMDLgraDvvUiPIgvY2zEny8jBw?key=sjXAXxWQcrv6wbbFi8dSTw\"><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Order Type for Return orders will be the reverse of the original order. For an original order with type \u2018Delivery\u2019, the Return order will be of type \u2018Pickup\u2019, and vice versa.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>You can create a Return order in multiple ways:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>A. <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Order List View&nbsp;<\/span><\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>To create Return orders via Order List View, follow these steps:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li>Click the Order tab.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In the drop-down menu, select All Orders. You will be taken to the Order List View.<br><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"width: 400px;\" src=\"https:\/\/lh7-rt.googleusercontent.com\/docsz\/AD_4nXeBytv216_z-kI0Rb6cQcgYTS-jkQSxJgxjGzc7JztPgKnNItKPkpn55w192R3Fb4580Tt6dTN1cDOTFxPlhDXE-9TCRkgYtZKuq5MpS2YnjpBCUliAnmVJgo2SV2gIVovF4M_mnw?key=sjXAXxWQcrv6wbbFi8dSTw\"><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select the required order that you want to return.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click the Mark As button. A list of all the statuses will open up.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select Mark as Return in the drop-down menu.<br><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/lh7-rt.googleusercontent.com\/docsz\/AD_4nXe1jtAvV_V3R-JL12DcBsanJcaGAINmmHtlnJseEploMPEkCQpQQzwrNSs7CT1dvR7qhicHXflOD_SSFjcGuzwM05mbyZjKtF_HXTWCc566Tx2ZmEIamXAWhOKOhM6zxKiKgIm0?key=sjXAXxWQcrv6wbbFi8dSTw\" style=\"width: 850px;\"><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The system creates a Return order with the same order number as the original, appended with a _R suffix. For example: If the original order number is ORD42890, the Return order will be ORD42890_R. This helps easily identify and track Return orders.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>B. <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Add Order Form<\/span><\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>To create a Return order using the Add Order form, select \u2018Yes\u2019 in the Return Order field to specify that the order is a Return order. Then, follow the usual steps to complete the order creation as outlined <a href=\"https:\/\/support.loginextsolutions.com\/#\/2017\/10\/07\/add-order-through-add-order-form-2\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">here<\/a>.<br><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"width: 850px;\" src=\"https:\/\/lh7-rt.googleusercontent.com\/docsz\/AD_4nXcs3X5JntPFBsOsp2Z76v4y9pHWehyXhhBG6aogv8pCdZrE1bnYZ8guHGt-jp0JUiiu8U4E_qu1V-qXljAAk7StOYfEHtVMBatv-Ikiy7QZTlChYEQmRgNpfDh7YRJuHcuTKLrYQQ?key=sjXAXxWQcrv6wbbFi8dSTw\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>C. <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Bulk Upload Orders<\/span><\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>When creating Return orders using <a href=\"https:\/\/support.loginextsolutions.com\/#\/2021\/08\/19\/add-orders-bulk-upload-and-auto-creation\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Bulk Upload<\/a>, you can enter the details of all Return orders in the specified file format. To know more, click <a href=\"https:\/\/products.loginextsolutions.com\/product\/#\/developersPortal\">here.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>RTM Orders<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>You can create an RTM (Return to Merchant) order when a delivery fails due to reasons like cancellation, failed attempts, or customer rejection, and the order needs to be returned to the merchant\/seller.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Note:<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>You can create RTM orders only for delivery orders with the status \u2018Attempted Delivery\u2019 or \u2018Cancelled\u2019, and for pickup orders with the status \u2018Delivered\u2019 or \u2018Cancelled\u2019. For example, if the original order number is ORD42890, the RTM order will be ORD42890_R.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Note:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>In a nutshell,<br>Return Orders: The pickup happens from the customer\u2019s location, and the delivery is made to the branch.<br>RTM (Return to Merchant) Orders: The pickup happens from the branch, and the delivery is made to the merchant\u2019s location.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you want to create a Return order for a \u2018Pickup\u2019 type of order (i.e., when the order needs to go back to the customer after being delivered at the branch), mark it as RTM.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Whenever you create a Return or RTM order, a corresponding Order Request is automatically generated in the system. This request appears as \u2018Confirmed\u2019 in the Order Request List View, where you can review all relevant details.
