Depending on your configurations, each trip may include multiple orders. The Trip Planning engine plans the most optimized trips for your delivery associates based on a set of properties defined in a <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/support.loginextsolutions.com\/#\/2018\/01\/18\/route-planning-properties-2\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Planning Profile<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Orders can be manually assigned to trips through different screens, namely, during order creation via the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/support.loginextsolutions.com\/#\/2017\/10\/07\/add-order-through-add-order-form-2\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Add Order<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> form, and later via the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/support.loginextsolutions.com\/#\/2021\/02\/12\/manual-assignment-of-orders\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Live screen<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/support.loginextsolutions.com\/#\/2018\/01\/17\/delivery-run-sheet-drs\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">DRS<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, or through the Assign Order API (API details are available on the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/products.loginextsolutions.com\/product\/#\/developersPortal\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Developer Portal<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">). Orders that remain unassigned after Trip Planning can also be assigned directly from the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/support.loginextsolutions.com\/#\/2018\/01\/18\/route-plan-results-2\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Planning Results<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> page.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This article explains how to manually assign orders to an existing trip using the Order List View, after the trips have already been planned.
