The Control Tower offers a bird\u2019s eye view of all the orders you need to serve and the resources available for the day.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Control Tower is divided into 3 sections:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><a href=\"#todays-activities\">Today&#8217;s Activities<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"#fleet-availability\">Fleet Availability<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"#delayed-delivery-associates\">Delayed Delivery Associates<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Note: <\/strong>The AI Insights option analyzes the Control Tower data to highlight which areas need your attention and suggests ways to optimize, helping you streamline your logistics operations.<\/p>\n<h4 id=\"todays-activities\"><b style=\"color: revert; font-size: revert; font-family: -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, 'Segoe UI', Roboto, Oxygen-Sans, Ubuntu, Cantarell, 'Helvetica Neue', sans-serif;\">Today&#8217;s Activities<\/b><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In this segment, you&#8217;ll have visibility into all the orders scheduled for the day. Depending on whether you&#8217;re utilizing the system for deliveries exclusively or for both delivery and pickup operations, you&#8217;ll see either Delivery Leg Details or both Pickup Leg and Delivery Leg Details. Below the total count, you&#8217;ll find the percentage of orders with the status &#8216;Not Dispatched.&#8217; The Donut Chart encapsulates all order statuses, encompassing &#8216;Not Dispatched,&#8217; &#8216;In Transit,&#8217; &#8216;Delivered,&#8217; &#8216;Attempted Delivery,&#8217; and &#8216;Cancelled.&#8217; If you wish to eliminate specific statuses from the Donut Chart, a simple click on the corresponding status name will suffice. Furthermore, a click on the Donut Chart allows direct access to a filtered list of orders, displaying the chosen status on the list of orders page.<\/li>\n<li><u>Orders Not Completed:<\/u>\u00a0This widget provides an overview of orders that were unable to be completed due to various reasons. Review all such orders along with the associated reasons. The displayed count signifies the total number of orders that remained uncompleted on the designated day. Delve into the reasons entered by delivery associates to comprehend the rationale behind unfulfilled pickups. Clicking on a specific reason will result in the corresponding segment of the Donut Chart being hidden. Additionally, you have the option to explore a list of orders, filtered based on the selected reason.<\/li>\n<li><u>Delayed Orders:<\/u> Access the total count and percentage of delayed pickup orders. These could be the pickup orders that were (or are yet to be) fulfilled after their End Time has passed. Within this widget, the Donut Chart offers a breakdown of these orders:<br \/>\na) Delayed &#8211; If the Actual Start Time is greater than the Planned Start Time.<br \/>\nb) On Time &#8211; If the Actual Start Time is the same as the Planned Start Time.<br \/>\nc) Before Time &#8211; If the Actual Start Time is less than the Planned Start Time.<br \/>\nd) Not Dispatched &#8211; If the order is still Not Dispatched, i.e, Actual Start Time is not available.<br \/>\nBy selecting a specific legend, the corresponding segment of the Donut Chart will be concealed. Clicking on the complete Donut Chart will grant you access to a list of orders, filtered according to the chosen legend.<\/li>\n<li><u>Order States:\u00a0<\/u>Gain a comprehensive understanding of the order states for the day. Determine whether each order is categorized as forward or return. Additionally, you can ascertain the percentage of orders designated for return to the merchant. Clicking on a specific state will obscure the relevant portion of the Donut Chart. For a broader perspective, clicking on the entire Donut Chart will lead you to a list of orders, sorted according to the chosen state.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><u><b>Delivery Leg Details:<\/b><\/u><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><u>Total Deliveries:<\/u> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Gain insight into the total count of deliveries scheduled for completion on the current day. Below the &#8216;Total&#8217;, you will find the percentage of orders categorized as &#8216;Not Dispatched.&#8217; The Donut Chart visually represents all order statuses, encompassing &#8216;Not Dispatched,&#8217; &#8216;In Transit,&#8217; &#8216;Completed,&#8217; &#8216;Not Completed,&#8217; and &#8216;Cancelled.&#8217; If you wish to omit specific statuses from the Donut Chart, a simple click on their respective names will suffice. The displayed count represents the total number of orders that were not fulfilled on that specific day. You can examine the explanations provided by delivery associates regarding the factors that hindered the delivery process. Clicking on a specific reason will conceal the corresponding portion of the Donut Chart. If you click on the entire Donut Chart, you will be able to access a list of orders filtered based on the chosen reason.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><u>Delayed Orders:<\/u>\u00a0T<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">his feature allows you to observe the total count of delayed delivery orders, along with the percentage of delivery orders experiencing delays. The Donut Chart within this widget provides a breakdown of these orders:<br \/>\n<\/span>a) Delayed &#8211; If the Actual Start Time is greater than the Planned Start Time.<br \/>\nb) On Time &#8211; If the Actual Start Time is the same as the Planned Start Time.<br \/>\nc) Before Time &#8211; If the Actual Start Time is less than the Planned Start Time.<br \/>\nd) Not Dispatched &#8211; If the order is still Not Dispatched, i.e., Actual Start Time is not available.<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\nBy selecting a specific legend, the corresponding segment of the Donut Chart will be hidden. This includes Delivery Associates, Vehicles, and Drivers. Their status is categorized based on whether they are Inactive, Absent, Available, or currently Intransit.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Resources that are accessible for the day, but not assigned to any active trips, are designated as &#8216;Available.&#8217; When resources are engaged in an ongoing trip, they are labeled as &#8216;Intransit.&#8217; Additionally, both you and your delivery associates can indicate their absence for the day, which will be indicated as &#8216;Absent.&#8217;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On the right-hand side, the map view showcases the locations of the delivery associates. Available delivery associates are denoted by the color blue, while those currently engaged are highlighted in red. You have the option to access their contact details and track their present location on the map. By clicking on a specific delivery in the list-view on the left, the corresponding delivery associate will be highlighted on the map view, which is particularly useful when multiple delivery associates are experiencing delays. The dashboard will display real-time data updates. The default automatic refreshing frequency is set to a minimum of 30 seconds, although you have the flexibility to increase this interval if desired. If you prefer to maintain the display on a particular screen, you can pause the slideshow.
