Once you have planned the orders and started the trip, your delivery associates go to the customers to pick up and\/or deliver the orders. When doing so, your delivery associates complete a series of steps in LogiNext Driver to mark the orders as picked up or delivered.<\/span><\/p>\n

The steps differ for pickup and delivery types of orders.<\/span><\/p>\n

For Pickup Orders:<\/b><\/h5>\n
    \n
  1. Checking in at the customer location<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Loading the crates\/items at the customer location<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. Taking the signature\/feedback from customer<\/span><\/li>\n
  4. Collecting the payment from customer<\/span><\/li>\n
  5. Capturing proof of pickup<\/span><\/li>\n
  6. Checking out from the customer location<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
    For Delivery Orders:<\/b><\/h5>\n
      \n
    1. Loading orders in the trip<\/span><\/li>\n
    2. Checking in at the customer location<\/span><\/li>\n
    3. Unloading the crates\/items at the customer location<\/span><\/li>\n
    4. Taking signature\/feedback from the customer<\/span><\/li>\n
    5. Collecting the payment from customer<\/span><\/li>\n
    6. Capturing proof of delivery<\/span><\/li>\n
    7. Checking out from the customer location<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Checking in and out of the customer location are mandatory steps. You can automate the check-in process by enabling the Auto Check-in<\/a> setting. The remaining steps can be either made optional or omitted, based on your operational requirements, via delivery associate accesses.<\/span><\/p>\n

      Note:<\/b> You need to provide accesses to your delivery associates to view and perform necessary actions while picking up or delivering orders in LogiNext Driver. To do so, go to Settings > Driver App Management > Access Profiles > Order Management and Automation, and provide the necessary accesses in the Order Pickup Cycle section (for the pickup order lifecycle) and\/or the Order Delivery Cycle section (for the delivery order lifecycle).       All orders assigned to a delivery associate are listed in the Current tab. Each order is represented as a card.<\/span>
      \n<\/span>The card may contain the following details and more, as per your <\/span>      dynamic order card configurations<\/span><\/a>:<\/span><\/p>\n

        \n
      1. Name of the customer<\/span><\/li>\n
      2. Order number<\/span><\/li>\n
      3. Pickup\/delivery address<\/span><\/li>\n
      4. Time to reach the customer location<\/span><\/li>\n
      5. Whether the order is a pickup or delivery type of order<\/span><\/li>\n
      6. Whether the payment mode is Prepaid, COP (Cash On Pickup), or COD (Cash On Delivery)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        Delivery associates can also swipe left on an order card to navigate to the customer\u2019s location. They can also make a call to the customer directly.

        Steps to Complete the Order Lifecycle:<\/b><\/h4>\n

        To complete the pickup lifecycle (PLC) or delivery lifecycle (DLC), follow the steps below:<\/span><\/p>\n

          \n
        1. Go to Orders and select the Current tab.<\/span><\/li>\n
        2. Click the relevant order card whose pickup\/delivery lifecycle you want to complete.<\/span>
          \n<\/span>Note:<\/b> If the order type is delivery, your delivery associate must first complete the pickup of that order before they can proceed with the delivery lifecycle.<\/span>

        3. Swipe right to start waiting at a customer\u2019s location for the pickup\/delivery of the order.

        4. Check in at the customer’s location to start the process. This can happen in one of two ways:
          \na. Manual Check-in: Swipe right again on the app interface.

          \nb. Auto Check-in: If enabled, the system will automatically check you in as soon as you enter the customer location’s geofence radius.           Learn more.<\/a>

        5. For pickup orders, the delivery associate loads the orders to be picked up from the customer\u2019s location. For delivery orders, the delivery associate unloads the orders to be delivered at the customer\u2019s location. To do so,<\/span><\/span>\n
