Similarly, you can only stop a trip after it has been started.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Trips can also automatically start when orders are auto-assigned to the delivery associates and they accept them. To enable auto-start of trip settings, contact your Account Manager. Similarly, trips can also auto-stop once the delivery associate fulfills the last order in the trip. To enable auto-stop of trips, turn ON the Auto Stop Trip After Last Order toggle in <a href=\"https:\/\/support.loginextsolutions.com\/#\/2021\/09\/29\/order-lifecycle-management\/\">Order Lifecycle Management<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Your delivery associates can also <a href=\"#start-stop-trips-from-the-driver-app\" data-type=\"internal\" data-id=\"#start-stop-trips-from-the-driver-app\">start\/stop trips from the Driver App<\/a>. We will explore how they can do so later in this article.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Starting\/Stopping Trips via the Trip List View<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"trip-list-view\">A. Start Trip API to start a trip<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"stop-trip-api\">B. Stop Trip API to stop a trip.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To know more about these APIs, click <a href=\"https:\/\/products.loginextsolutions.com\/product\/#\/developersPortal\">here<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"planning-results-page\">Starting Trips Via Trip Planning Results<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>To start a trip from the Trip Planning Results page, follow these steps:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li>Click the flash icon on the menu bar. This is where the Planning Results are available.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click the Show All option. Here, your delivery associates can mention the initial odometer reading of the vehicle. They can also take a picture of the vehicle\u2019s odometer by clicking the Camera icon.
