The <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/support.loginextsolutions.com\/index.php\/2023\/10\/20\/customer-configuration\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Customer Configuration<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> module offers you just that capability via the Customer Profiling feature, which lets you store and manage your customers\u2019 profiles with ease. You can not only store customer addresses but also preferred pickup and delivery slots and other relevant details.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><b>Enabling Customer Profiling<\/b><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To enable Customer Profiling, follow the steps given below:<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Click the Settings icon.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Select Customer Configuration in the drop-down menu.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><b style=\"color: revert; color: initial; font-family: -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, 'Segoe UI', Roboto, Oxygen-Sans, Ubuntu, Cantarell, 'Helvetica Neue', sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: initial; font-family: -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, 'Segoe UI', Roboto, Oxygen-Sans, Ubuntu, Cantarell, 'Helvetica Neue', sans-serif;\">On the Customer Configuration page, click the arrow icon in the Customer Profiling section to expand it.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-32941 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/support.loginextsolutions.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Screenshot-2026-05-08-at-4.43.44\u202fPM-copy-2.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"2880\" height=\"1218\" srcset=\"https:\/\/support.loginextsolutions.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Screenshot-2026-05-08-at-4.43.44\u202fPM-copy-2.png 2880w, https:\/\/support.loginextsolutions.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Screenshot-2026-05-08-at-4.43.44\u202fPM-copy-2-300x127.png 300w, https:\/\/support.loginextsolutions.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Screenshot-2026-05-08-at-4.43.44\u202fPM-copy-2-1024x433.png 1024w, https:\/\/support.loginextsolutions.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Screenshot-2026-05-08-at-4.43.44\u202fPM-copy-2-768x325.png 768w, https:\/\/support.loginextsolutions.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Screenshot-2026-05-08-at-4.43.44\u202fPM-copy-2-1536x650.png 1536w, https:\/\/support.loginextsolutions.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Screenshot-2026-05-08-at-4.43.44\u202fPM-copy-2-2048x866.png 2048w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 2880px) 100vw, 2880px\" \/><br \/>\n<\/span><\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Under Customer Profiling, you can enable the following toggles:<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For Pick-ups: Enable this toggle to store and manage customer profiles for pickup addresses.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For Deliveries: Enable this toggle to store and manage customer profiles for delivery addresses.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">AI Auto Update Customer Location: Enable this toggle to automatically update the customer location when a delivery associate marks an order as Picked Up or Delivered.<br \/>\n<strong>Note:<\/strong> For more on why geocoding accuracy matters and how to manage it effectively, click <a href=\"https:\/\/support.loginextsolutions.com\/#\/2025\/09\/23\/geocoding-challenges-insights-workflows\/\">here<\/a>.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">After Every Successful Pickup or Delivery: If this radio button is selected, the customer&#8217;s location will be updated automatically after every successful pickup or delivery of the order.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">After Multiple Successful Pickups or Deliveries: If this radio button is selected, the customer&#8217;s location will be automatically updated after multiple successful pickups or deliveries at the same location on multiple occasions.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ask Delivery Associate For Correct Location: If this is enabled and the geocoded location of the customer differs from the order checkout location, delivery associates will be prompted to confirm whether the order checkout location is indeed the correct customer location. In the &#8216;Ask Delivery Associate for Correct Location&#8217; input field, you can define the minimum distance (in meters) between the geocoded customer location and the order checkout location for which this location confirmation prompt should be sent to the delivery associate. To learn more about how to add customers, click <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/support.loginextsolutions.com\/index.php\/2018\/06\/21\/add-customer\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">here<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. To learn more about how to update customer details, click <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/support.loginextsolutions.com\/index.php\/2018\/06\/22\/update-customer-address\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">here<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Once you have added your customers\u2019 details, you can auto-populate these details while creating orders.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Based on your selected Customer Profiling preference, you can auto-populate the customers\u2019 details while creating their orders. As you create an order, when you enter the customer ID in the Pickup\/Delivery Details section, the system checks if the provided customer ID already exists. If the customer ID exists, the system will fetch the data stored in the Customer Master and auto-populate the remaining fields. If not, the system automatically creates a new customer and adds to the Customer Master. To learn more, click <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/support.loginextsolutions.com\/index.php\/2017\/10\/07\/add-order-through-add-order-form-2\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">here<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To auto-populate the customer details while creating orders, you need to ensure that you have enabled the relevant toggle(s) in the Customer Profiling settings. If you have only enabled the toggle \u2018For Pickups\u2019, you can auto-populate the details only in the \u2018Pickup Details\u2019 section while creating orders. Similarly, if you have only enabled the toggle \u2018For Deliveries\u2019, you can populate the details only in the \u2018Delivery Details\u2019 section. Here is how this works:<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Once you select the Customer ID, other fields, including Name, Email ID, Contact Number, and the primary address of the customer (including its associated Service Time, Start\/End Time, Notes, etc.) are auto-populated. Note that Address ID is a unique ID associated with each customer address. If a customer has multiple addresses, each of those addresses would have their own address ID.
