For example:<br \/>\na) A customer places an order during the interaction, which the associate logs immediately, but the order fulfillment will happen later as per the standard process.<br \/>\nb) The associate either delivers an additional product carried for on-the-spot sale or picks up a new, unplanned order from the customer\u2014both of which need to be recorded in the system right away.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You can let your delivery associates create a new order in the LogiNext platform. Further, you can also let them assign that order to themselves. To enable the Add New Order feature for your delivery associates, go to Settings &gt; Driver App Management &gt; Access Profiles &gt; Order Management and Automation &gt; Add New Order. You can also view the \u2018Assign Order to Self\u2019 toggle below the Add New Order tab. You can enter any alphanumeric value as an Order Number. However, ensure that the Order No. is unique for the same Order Type. For example, two pickup orders should not have the same Order Number. You can also scan or auto-generate an Order Number using the respective icons next to the field.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Destination Branch: Name of the branch at which the delivery associate would bring the picked up order (i.e. the order which is collected from the customers). This field is auto-populated. Note that the destination branch would be the same branch that is linked with your delivery associate.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Date: Date and time when the order is created.<\/span><br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-15024\" src=\"https:\/\/support.loginextsolutions.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/7.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"250\" height=\"497\" srcset=\"https:\/\/support.loginextsolutions.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/7.jpg 738w, https:\/\/support.loginextsolutions.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/7-151x300.jpg 151w, https:\/\/support.loginextsolutions.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/7-515x1024.jpg 515w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 250px) 100vw, 250px\" \/><br \/>\n<b><\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><b>For Order Type (Delivery):<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Order Number: Order Number is a multi-digit number assigned to an order to distinguish it from other orders. Note that the origin branch would be the same branch that is linked with your delivery associate.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Start Time Window: Start Time is the time after which the delivery associate should reach the customer for delivery of the order.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">End Time Window: <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">End Time is the time before which the delivery associate should reach the customer for delivery of the order.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Assign to Self: By selecting this checkbox, the delivery associates can assign the created order to themselves in the current trip, as needed.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><b>Note:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> If the \u2018Assign to Self\u2019 option is selected, the order will appear in the Current Orders tab as the last order in the sequence.
