It is also helpful for determining the actual fleet cost for both carriers and shippers by serving as a cross-verification tool to reconcile any differences between the planned and actual distances, ensuring accurate and fair charges.<br><br>To ensure accuracy, readings should be captured at both the start and end of the trip. Delivery associates can type in the readings manually and capture photos of the vehicle\u2019s odometer as visual proof to support their entries.<br><br>If you want your delivery associates to capture odometer readings, you will need to enable the relevant settings. To do this, go to Settings > Driver App Management > Access Profiles > Trip Management > My Trips. Enable the My Trips toggle and under My Trips, enable all the relevant toggles, as shown in the image. This setup ensures that odometer data is properly recorded for each trip. If you want to mandate it, contact your Account Manager.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In scenarios where trips are auto-started or auto-stopped, the odometer pop-up to capture readings does not appear. To enable auto-start of trips, contact your Account Manager.
