For instance, if the order status is Delivered, you instantly know that the order has arrived at its destination. The order status can be updated either by using the Driver App or the Dispatcher Web App. To learn more about how your delivery associates can update the order status via the Driver App, click <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/support.loginextsolutions.com\/index.php\/2017\/12\/02\/delivery-completion-stages\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">here<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. If in case your delivery associates aren&#8217;t able to update the order status, due to network issues, battery issues, etc., you can also update the order status yourself via the Dispatcher Web App.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><b>Order Statuses<\/b><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Not Dispatched:<\/span> By default, the status of any order created in the LogiNext platform is \u2018Not Dispatched\u2019 unless acted upon by a delivery associate or dispatcher. This status means that the order is at the origin point and has not been dispatched to the destination.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Intransit:<\/span> When an order has been assigned to a delivery associate and the trip associated with the respective order has started, the order status changes to Intransit.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Picked Up:<\/span> A delivery associate picks up an order from the merchant\/seller to bring it to the branch. Similarly, a delivery associate picks up the order from the branch to deliver the order to the end <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">customer<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. In both cases, the order status changes to Picked Up.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Attempted Pickup:<\/span> A delivery associate might not be able to pick up an order from the merchant\/seller due to any reason and might fail to bring it to the branch. Similarly, a delivery associate might fail to pick up the order from the branch to deliver it to the end customer. In both cases, the order status changes to Attempted Pickup.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Delivered:<\/span> An order picked up from the merchant\/seller is delivered to the branch by a delivery associate. Similarly, an order picked up from a branch is delivered to the end <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">customer<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. In both cases, the order status changes to Delivered after delivering the order.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Attempted Delivery:<\/span> A delivery associate might fail to deliver the order to the branch after picking up the order from the merchant\/seller. Similarly, a delivery associate might fail to deliver the order to the end <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">customer<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> after picking up the order from a branch. In both cases, the order status changes to Attempted Delivery.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Cancelled:<\/span> An order can be cancelled at any point of time in the entire cycle from merchant to the end <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">customer<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> due to numerous reasons. This would change the order status to Cancelled.<\/span><\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">RTM (Return to Merchant) and Return:<\/span> A customer places a return request for an order after being delivered to them. In such cases, the order can be marked as RTM or Return. In the case of RTM, the movement of the order would reverse and the order would now move from the end <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">customer<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to a branch and then to the merchant\/seller. In case of Return, the order shall now move from the end <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">customer<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to the branch.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In the Dispatcher Web App, you can update the order status in two ways; either via the Order History screen or by using the \u2018Mark as\u2019 button in the Order List View.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><b>Updating Order Statuses via Order History<\/b><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To update the order status of individual orders using the Order History screen, follow these steps:<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Click the Order tab.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In the drop-down menu, select All Orders.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In the Order List View, click the appropriate Order Number in the Order No. column for which you want to update the order status.<br \/>\nNote that you can only update the status for \u2018Intransit\u2019 and beyond order statuses.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-15100 \" src=\"https:\/\/support.loginextsolutions.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/1-4.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"852\" height=\"345\" srcset=\"https:\/\/support.loginextsolutions.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/1-4.jpg 1600w, https:\/\/support.loginextsolutions.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/1-4-300x122.jpg 300w, https:\/\/support.loginextsolutions.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/1-4-768x311.jpg 768w, https:\/\/support.loginextsolutions.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/1-4-1024x415.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 852px) 100vw, 852px\" \/><br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Click the Update Status button.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-15101\" src=\"https:\/\/support.loginextsolutions.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"850\" height=\"113\" srcset=\"https:\/\/support.loginextsolutions.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2-2.jpg 1600w, https:\/\/support.loginextsolutions.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2-2-300x40.jpg 300w, https:\/\/support.loginextsolutions.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2-2-768x102.jpg 768w, https:\/\/support.loginextsolutions.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2-2-1024x136.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 850px) 100vw, 850px\" \/><\/span><\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You will now be taken to the Order History page. To update the order status as Picked up, select the appropriate check-in time, check-out time, and mark it as Picked up\/Attempted Pickup, as required.<\/span><\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><span steps:<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Click the Order tab.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span process of updating the order status from \u2018Attempted Pickup\u2019 or \u2018Attempted Delivery\u2019 to \u2018Not Dispatched\u2019 if the number of reattempts for that order has not been exhausted. To do so, use the \u2018Automatically Mark Order as Not Dispatched\u2019 toggle in the <a href=\"https:\/\/support.loginextsolutions.com\/index.php\/2021\/09\/29\/order-lifecycle-management\/\">Order Lifecycle Management<\/a> module. You can also configure the number of reattempts, reasons for cancellation of the orders, and other essential components of the order lifecycle in this module.<br \/>\n<\/span><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-10385\" src=\"https:\/\/support.loginextsolutions.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/unnamed-11-300x172.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"394\" height=\"226\" \/><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h4><b>Points to be Noted:<\/b><\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Order status can be changed to Cancelled at any time, except after the final delivery to the end <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">customer<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The delivery associates cannot update\/change the order status as Cancelled via the Driver App.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Refer to the following table to see which order statuses can be updated to which other order statuses. The first column of the table represents the current order status of an order whereas the first row represents the different order statuses available on the platform.
