Some of&nbsp;the functionalities supporting this include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A) Update Customer<br>B) Address List View<br>C) Update Customer Location<br>D) Order List View<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Note:<\/strong>&nbsp;Following is the impact of updating addresses:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Not Dispatched and Planned\/Unplanned orders<\/span>: If you change addresses which are linked to such orders using Update Customer, Address List View, or Update Customer Location functionalities, the new address would also be updated against all the active orders associated with that address. However, the Order List View lets you choose whether changing the address also updates the other associated active orders.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Not Dispatched and Planned orders<\/span>: Updating addresses for such orders using Update Customer, Address List View, or Update Customer Location functionalities, you would get a message that the order(s) would be unassigned from the trip. This is done as updating addresses may have an impact on the already planned pickup\/delivery timings.&nbsp;However, the Order List View allows you to update the customer address and choose whether to remove it from its trip or not.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">In Transit orders<\/span>: When updating an address using Update Customer, Address List View, or Update Customer Location functionalities, you would not be able to update addresses that are linked to In Transit orders. Only after the order is completed would you be able to change the customer address. Whereas, the Order List View allows you to update the customer address of an order even while the order is in transit, but only until the delivery associate has &#8216;checked in&#8217; at that address (i.e. you can no longer update the customer address of an In Transit order after the delivery associate has performed the &#8216;check in&#8217; action at that location).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Supported Functionalities to Update Customer Addresses<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p><b>A) Update Customer: <\/b>You can change the address by updating the customer information:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li>Click the Customer tab.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In the drop-down menu, select All Customers.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You will be taken to the Customer List View. tab.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In the drop-down menu, select All Addresses.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click the Map button.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click the address link (in the Address column).<br><img loading=\"lazy\" screen will open. If there are any other active orders associated with this address, they will be listed here.<br>You can choose to input a new address or select one from the other addresses already configured for this customer. To do the former, simply edit the address. The address change will also be applicable on all the associated orders. To do the latter, select the checkbox &#8216;Select from available addresses&#8217; and make your selection. This would allow you to choose which associated orders should also be updated.<br><strong>Note:<\/strong> Every address is linked to an address ID. Updating the address of an order with a new one also updates the address linked to the address ID. Whereas selecting an existing address doesn&#8217;t update the address linked to the address ID, it just links the order to another existing address ID.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To also remove this order from its trip, turn ON the toggle \u2018Remove From Trip\u2019.
