The LogiNext Driver App is agnostic of devices and technically compatible across a wide variety of latest Android and iOS devices. However, it is not recommended to use devices with outdated Operating Systems. We have extensively tested and extended our support to devices running:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    System Requirements for the Driver App<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

    We thoroughly support devices that meet or exceed the following minimum operating system requirements for optimal performance:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Screen and Other Requirements<\/strong><\/td>Minimum display resolution of 720\u00d71280 pixels recommended. High Accuracy GPS mode required (supported by most current devices). Medium to good quality camera with Autofocus recommended for barcode scanning functionality.<\/td><\/tr>
    Basic Device Requirements<\/strong><\/td>Active data connection (3G\/4G); recommended data pack of 2 GB\/month or more. 2 GB of system storage or expandable memory 1.5 GHz processor or higher (for Android), 2 GB of RAM (for Android)<\/td><\/tr>
    Battery Optimization<\/strong><\/td>The app requires constant use of location services, pings, and push notifications, but is optimized for minimal battery consumption during standby. A mid-range device with considerable battery capacity is recommended.<\/td><\/tr>
    Tracking Considerations<\/strong><\/td>Location tracking is a core feature for obtaining real-time driver locations. The quality of tracking is highly dependent on the OS version: Android 10 and above: Open the Driver App once every 15 minutes for optimal tracking. Android 9 and 8: Location updates are restricted for 15 minutes in the background; keep the app open to ensure healthy tracking.<\/td><\/tr>
    Security and Device Integrity<\/strong><\/td>The application must not run on devices that are rooted or jailbroken. Such devices compromise security, restrict proper background processing, and can affect the accuracy of location and performance data.
