Our engineers assess the MTPD (Maximum Tolerable Period of Disruption) on an application-by-application and dataset-by-dataset basis. Accordingly, protection layer is devised based on what LogiNext defines as existentially-critical, mission-critical, and optimal-for-performance.

LogiNext has architected its AWS instances and storage data within multiple geographic regions as well as across multiple availability zones within each region. Each availability zone is designed as an independent failure zone. This means that availability zones are physically separated within a typical metropolitan region and are located in lower risk flood plains (specific flood zone categorisation varies by Region). In addition to discrete Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) and onsite backup generation facilities, they are each fed via different grids from independent utilities to further reduce single points of failure. Availability zones are all redundantly connected to multiple tier-1 transit providers. Distributing applications across multiple availability zones provides the ability to remain resilience in the face of most failure modes, including natural disasters or system failures.

RTO is 1 hour and RPO is 15 minutes

Note: Business Continuity and Data Recovery Plans are updated every month at LogiNext

RPO & RTO are key matrices used in Enterprise Software Industry to define Disaster Recovery Plan (DRP) of a Software Provider. The RTO, or recovery time objective, is the maximum length of time after an outage the Software recovery process will take to finish. On the other hand, the RPO, or recovery point objective, is the maximum amount of data loss the Software might have (measured in time)

Refer to the following AWS Business Continuity Documents for more details:

AWS Disaster Recovery Whitepaper

AWS Risk and Compliance Whitepaper

AWS Security Whitepaper

Download PDF Amongst the many, one of the best practices that the LogiNext follows is to evaluate the risk of data loss – the most treasured assets of our customers, and establish business continuity plans that outline backup and recovery … Continued

[1091,3020,3019,3018,3017,3016,3015,3014,3013,3011,1320,1319,1004,1014,1013,1012,1011,1010,1009,1008,1007,1006,1005
