The Driver App is designed with an approach to ensure streamlined ground operations, LogiNext pushes regular updates for the application to ensure optimal performance and security. It is immensely important for the Operations Managers and delivery personnel alike to keep a check of best practices to be able to get the most out of the LogiNext Driver App.<\/p>\n<p><b>LogiNext recommends the following best practices for smooth functioning of the Driver App and thus your on-ground operations:<\/b><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Make sure you&#8217;re using a mobile device that supports the <a href=\"https:\/\/support.loginextsolutions.com\/#\/2018\/12\/05\/technical-specs-driver-app\/\">minimum hardware and software requirements<\/a> for using the LogiNext Driver mobile application on both Android and iOS.<\/li>\n<li>Make sure your delivery associates are provided with appropriate training on using the key features of the mobile application, like:\n<ul>\n<li>Set password \/ Log in to the mobile app<\/li>\n<li>Mark themselves as Available, Present, Absent or On Break<\/li>\n<li>Loading the orders before starting the trip<\/li>\n<li>Odometer input and odometer image capture at Trip Start and Trip End<\/li>\n<li>Locating the order on the map \/ Following the route<\/li>\n<li>Following the <a href=\"https:\/\/support.loginextsolutions.com\/#\/2017\/12\/02\/delivery-completion-stages\/\">Delivery Lifecycle (DLC)<\/a> on\u00a0the app while delivering\/picking up the orders<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Check the location timeline of the delivery associates on the Google Maps regularly to make sure that they keep their GPS on.<\/li>\n<li>Keep a regular check on the latest version of the mobile app on App Store and Play Store, and ensure that your delivery associates keep the LogiNext Driver App up-to-date.<\/li>\n<li>Encourage your delivery associates not to use \u2018Power Saving\u2019 or \u2018Data Saving\u2019 mode during on-ground operations or any \u2018Memory Management Apps\u2019 that can kill the LogiNext Driver App while in use.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that you&#8217;re using an internet data pack from a reliable Network Provider with sufficient data limits and network coverage in your area. 3G or above data connection is recommended for optimal functioning of the application.<\/li>\n<li>Verify the battery level of mobile devices before the trip start, ensure that it is at least 80% or make sure your delivery associates carry a charger or a portable power bank while leaving for the trip.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><b>Some Best Practices for Delivery Associates:<\/b><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>It is recommended to keep the app in the foreground while you&#8217;re on a trip. Or make sure that you open the app at regular intervals (every 15-20 min) while on the field.<\/li>\n<li>Report at the branch at-least 30 mins before the Trip Start Time to give yourself enough time to Load and setup the trip for the day.<\/li>\n<li>Capture Vehicles Odometer reading before the Start of the Trip and after finishing the Trip along with the images.<\/li>\n<li>Do not uninstall the app or clear app data while you&#8217;re on a Trip or logged-in into the app.<\/li>\n<li>Always mark yourself On-Break in the mobile application while you&#8217;re taking a break during your daily operations.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Following the practices listed above will ensure that you do not face any issues fulfilling your day-to-day operations using the LogiNext Driver app. Yet, if you face any issues like app crashing, not opening, not responding or working properly, please try the troubleshooting steps listed below. Try each step sequentially (one at a time) and check whether it fixed the issue you&#8217;re facing.<\/p>\n<p><b>LogiNext Driver App Troubleshooting Steps:<\/b><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Make sure you&#8217;re getting a stable mobile network in your area. Turn mobile data ON\/OFF<\/li>\n<li>Make sure that Location Services\/GPS are enabled and \u2018High Accuracy\u2019 mode is selected. Try turning GPS ON\/OFF<\/li>\n<li>Check if GPS is tracking location in Google Maps (preferably do this before the start of the trip)<\/li>\n<li>If the location is not accurate enough, move to an open area and open Google Maps app. Check if your device might need GPS recalibration<\/li>\n<li>Toggle Airplane Mode ON\/OFF. Wait at least 5 seconds between turning off and on<\/li>\n<li>If the username has an apostrophe, make sure you are selecting the right apostrophe while logging in. For example, in an iPhone, you can long-press\u00a0the apostrophe sign and select the right one (e.g. &#8216; or\u00a0<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u07f4)<\/span><\/li>\n<li>For iOS, make sure that Location Settings is set to \u2018Always\u2019.
